Electrical Panels

Transfer panels guarantee continuity of the supply of electricity when there are failures in the public power grid.

Transfer equipment allows for changing operations from a public power grid to an emergency power plant within a few seconds.

Automatic transfer switches are pieces of equipment that take effect when there is a failure in the public power grid, requesting ignition and changing over operations to the power plant when tension is available. When the power grid tension is reestablished operations return to the power grid.

Regarding manual transfer switches, a person must be available when the tension in the power grid drops.

Synchronisms are pieces of electronic equipment used to change operations between two electric generators or the public power grid and an electric generator, without the need for suspending service. Likewise, they allow for joining output of two electric plants, or between the public grid and an electric generator.

Distribution panels – synchronization panels – national or imported medium and low tension cells.

Load Banks

This equipment serves for inspecting and testing the electromechanical conditions of electric plants or generators. The only way to test whether or not an electric plant is properly functioning is to put it to the test (load) with a load bank.

The load banks that we offer handle a completely autonomous test system. They include all of the resistive load elements, control devices, load circuit devices, cable systems for connections, cooling system, error detection system, power source for control, and instrumentation with protection for testing.

Our load bank leasing service includes a written certificate of results, expert technicians, electrical cables and transportation of equipment.

PAD-MOUNTED TRANSFORMERS

A Pad-mounted transformer is the ideal alternative for a safe and esthetic option, adequate for users with limited spaces for civil works of transformation centers, or those with buried high and low voltage electric lines, very common in industries, buildings, and gated communities, complying with international standards: IEC, ANSI C-57, and national standards: NTE INEN.

MULTI-TAP STEP-UP TRANSFORMER

Multi-tap transformers are frequently used in applications to provide electricity to motors of downhole pumps in oilfields, as well as for mining and windmills.

Characteristics

These transformers are designed to work at frequencies between 30 and 90 cycles.
28-position voltage regulator, providing the optimal voltage for supplying electricity to the downhole pumps.
Cooling system designed for a K-factor of 20.
Built in a delta pattern in the primary coil, with external terminals for the secondary coil, allowing for star or delta pattern.
Step-up transformer for the most common voltages in primary coils up to 480 V, and secondary coil voltages of 1100/3810 V. and 1450/4800 V.
Fabricated at powers of 260 to 1200 KVA.
Low and high voltage outputs are built in their own closed compartments (pad-mounted) to offer safety and esthetic qualities to underground connections. (At the request of the client, the output can be on the top in the event of overhead powerlines).

PHASE SHIFTING TRANSFORMER FOR FREQUENCY INVERTERS

Phase shifting transformers are ideal for applications such as frequency inverters, frequently used in mining and oilfields.

Characteristics

Designed with a Dd0/Dyn11 connection group. (30 electrical degrees of differentiation)
Primary coil voltages of 13800 or 480V, and secondary coil voltages of 480-480V or the voltage requested by the client.
Tap commutator regulator ±2*2.5% (operations without load)
Fabricated at powers from 260 to 1200 kVA.
Low and high voltage outputs are built in their own closed compartments (pad-mounted) to offer safety and esthetic qualities to underground connections (At the request of the client, the output can be on the top in the event of overhead powerlines).

AUTOSHIFT TRANSFORMER FOR FREQUENCY INVERTERS

Autoshift transformers are an economical alternative in the field of phase shifting Transformers. They are ideal for applications such as frequency inverters, frequently used in mining and oilfields.

Primary coil voltages of 480 V, and secondary coil voltages of 497-497 V, differentiation +15°, -15° in delta pattern
Fabricated at powers from 260 to 1200 kVA.
